27th June 2023 @ 19:30 - 20:30

£15

BVNA are pleased to be collaborating with VDS Training to offer this webinar on ‘Giving Nurses a Voice in Change’ – which is FREE to attend for BVNA members.

Do you feel confident leading change in your practice? Are there elements of how you deliver care you would like to improve? What gets in your way of being able to care for your patients or for your clients?

In this webinar we will explore the central role nurses play in understanding and improving how care is delivered. Sharing insights from recent PhD research, we will look at what might stop nurses feeling able to ask for change. Respect, relationships and effective communication are at the heart of teams that are able to create and sustain change. You will leave with some ideas and tips to help you step into leading change.

Learning Outcomes;

  • Understand common blockers to sharing our ideas and concerns
  • Recognise how relationships and trust impact team communication
  • Understand what psychological safety is and how to build it
  • Build confidence in your role as a nurse in identifying and leading improvements in practice
  • Know what effective feedback look like and how to build a feedback culture
