Who is this course for?

Is this course for me?

Lets talk rehabilitation…

Among many orthopaedic procedures, the repair of cruciate ligaments in dogs in up there as one of the most common procedures as a nurse that you will be involved in during your time in practice.

As veterinary nurses, we are able to really help with not just the treatment of these patients whilst they’re in the clinic, but also as an outpatient during their rehabilitation journey.

Although surgery may not always be an option for patients, the role of rehabilitation is vital in order for that patient to be able to live with an improved quality of life.

That’s why in this course we will outline the different ways in which as veterinary nurses we can help to assist these patients through the recovery process.

Our online tutor Emily, a qualified animal physiotherapist and fellow RVN will guide you through the role that physiotherapy plays in the rehabilitation of dogs with cruciate ligament disease. Building a foundation of knowledge (including anatomy and physiology of the stifle), then building on this foundation to help you support these patients.

As always all our courses include small bitesize videos with an accompanying workbook so you don’t have to write a single word (unless you want an excuse to get your stationary out 😉)
